Resumen

Según la OMS y el IMSS, en México un 30% de la población de entre 18 y 30 años han tenido o padecido alguna infección de transmisión sexual; y a nivel mundial se calculan un total de 4 con características no curables y otras 4 curables. Por estas razones es importante concientizar y llegar a cada una de esas personas para que no se sigan reproduciendo los mismos comportamientos, ya que, la seguridad social y de salud es un tema de importancia a nivel nacional e internacional.

ITS Protection es un boletín informativo que habla sobre estas infecciones de transmisión sexual (ITS), de manera  que las personas que no cuentan con el conocimiento de sus síntomas y consecuencias puedan consultarlo en este boletín, que además de ser digital y didáctico es fácil de comprender para que el tema quede totalmente claro, y de esta forma lograr que el porcentaje de personas con ITS disminuyan.

Al ser digital, este será  más fácil de consultar por la sociedad, ya que hoy en la actualidad, la tecnología se ha vuelto una utilidad necesaria para la vida cotidiana de muchos  jóvenes, con ello lograremos que las personas tengan un mayor conocimiento sobre estas infecciones, y que así hagan uso del condón antes de tener relaciones sexuales.

En la primera fase del proyecto se hizo en Ibooks Author un boletín interactivo donde vimos el primer nivel de conocimiento de las personas que atendieron al mismo y en la segunda fase se usaron diferentes diseños en VR (Realidad Virtual). Además de estudiar a más población  del colegio para determinar acciones.

¿Se podrá disminuir el porcentaje de personas con infecciones de transmisión sexual en México?

Antecedentes

Objetivo

Diseñar  un boletín  informativo digital sobre infecciones de transmisión sexual para concientizar y disminuir el porcentaje de personas con ITS.

Justificación

Los boletines informativos son publicaciones distribuidas de forma objetiva, clara y centrada de un tema principal para proporcionar información de interés a sus miembros lectores. En este caso nosotras realizaremos un boletín digital informativo de las infecciones de transmisión sexual, pero antes ¿qué es una infección de transmisión sexual?, una infección de transmisión sexual es un virus, parásito o bacteria, que se contagia principalmente de una persona a otra al tener relaciones sexuales sin protección alguna, al investigar esto, nosotras conocimos que existen infecciones de transmisión sexual que la población desconoce, es por eso que decidimos hacer este proyecto para que las personas a las que informemos tengan un mayor conocimiento sobre este tema y con esto lograr concientizar a las personas sobre su protección.

Hipótesis

Al crear un boletín informativo sobre las infecciones de transmisión sexual se  reducirá el porcentaje actual de 33% de personas infectadas en México.

Método (materiales y procedimiento)

Los materiales que utilizamos son:

Una Mac (La Mac tiene que ser generación 10.11 en adelante)

iBooks Author

Procedimiento:

Primero, diseñar el boletín en una plantilla en blanco de iBooks Author, posteriormente, añadir recursos multimedia como videos, imágenes,  widgets, gifts, 3D y un cuestionario, finalmente, publicarlo en  iBooks, una vez publicado los usuarios podrán visualizarlo.

Segundo. Diseño de diferentes videos para usarlos en un VR.

Tercero. Comprobar y saber el nivel de comprensión y acercamiento que se tuvo con este tema.

Se logró hacer un boletín digital informativo sobre las infecciones de transmisión sexual con ayuda de recursos multimedia como videos, imágenes, 3D, gifs, widgets, cuestionarios y con esto concientizar a las personas de la importancia de cómo protegerse al tener relaciones sexuales.

Discusión

Según los resultados de la encuesta que realizamos (véase anexo 1) a 45 personas solo 9 de estas supieron que era una ITS (véase anexo 2) debido a estos resultados les tuvimos que explicar a las personas que eran, después les preguntamos si sabían algunas de ellas, de estas 45 personas recibimos 100 respuestas de diferentes infecciones, los resultados fueron estos (véase anexo 3):

• Gonorrea: 24
• Sifilis: 21
• VIH/SIDA: 27
• VPH: 12
• Herpes: 11
• Hepatitis B: 1
• Clamidia: 4

Lo último que preguntamos fue los medios con los cuales se puede proteger una persona, afortunadamente de las 45 personas hubo 50 respuestas de las cuales 41 respondieron el condón y 9 personas contestaron la abstinencia (véase anexo 4). Mediante estas encuestas comprobamos que la gente no tiene el suficiente conocimiento sobre las ITS.

Finalmente, realizamos una segunda encuesta a 40 personas (véase anexo 5), para ver si les había gustado nuestro boletín, a lo cual, 30 personas respondieron que sí,  las demás personas respondieron que no (véase anexo 6.

Conclusiones

Hemos observado que el fomentar el uso del condón en compañeros y gente adulta es una de las partes importantes de la hipótesis, que dará pie a la comprobación de la misma. De lo que sí estamos seguras es que, con este boletín, se informará de una manera más precisa, y por el momento nuestras conclusiones no pueden ser concluida.

Discusión:

Con este proyecto se mostró que mediante un boletín digital se puede informar a la población sobre un tema, de manera en que sea fácil de entender. En nuestras bitácoras se mostraron los resultados y el proceso por el que pasó este proyecto. Al investigar descubrimos que la población no tenía conocimiento de las ITS, lo cual era preocupante ya que estas infecciones te pueden llevar hasta la muerte.

Summary

According to WHO and MSSI in Mexico a 33% of the population from among 18 and 30 years have had or have suffered sexually transmitted diseases and infections; and at a world level it is calculated a total of 4 with characteristics not curables and other 4 that are curable.

For this reasons, it is important to raise awareness and get to every person, so the same behaviors do not keep reproducing, because the social and health security is a subject really important at a national and international level.

ITS Protection it’s a newsletter that talks about these sexually transmitted infections so that individuals who do not have the knowledge of their symptoms and consequences, can read this newsletter which in addition to being digital and didactic it’s easy to understand, and by this way ensure the percentage of people with STI.

Being digital, this will be easier to be consulted by society, as today, the technology has become a necessary utility for the daily life of many young people, in this way they can get more knowledge about these infections, and make use of the condom before having sex.

Objective

Design a digital informative newsletter about sexually transmitted infections to make people aware of their protection, and with this reduce the percentage of people with STI.

Justification

The newsletters are distributed publications by an objective, clear and central way about a principal topic to provide interesting information to his reader members. In this case, we would made a informative digital newsletter about the sexually transmitted infections, but first,  what is a sexually transmitted infection?. A sexually transmitted infection is a virus, parasite or bacteria, these ones are infected mainly from one person to another by having sexual relations without protection, as we investigate this, we met that there are sexually transmitted infections that people unknown, that’s why we decided to do this project, so the people that we inform, have more knowledge about this subject, and with this make people aware of their protection.

Hypothesis

When creating a digital informative newsletter about STI, it will be repelled the actual percentage of 33% of infected people in Mexico

According to the results of the survey that we made (check anexo 1) to 45 persons only 9 know what was a STI (check anexo 2) because of this results we had to explain them what were STI then we asked them if they know some of them ,of this 45 persons we recived 100 answers of differents infections, the results were  (check  anexo 3):

Then the last think we asked was the ways of protecting a person when having sex, luckly of the 45 persons there were 50 answers of the ones 41 answers were  that the condom and 9 answers were that the abstinence  (check anexo 4). Trought this surveys we check that people donts have the knowloadge about STI. Finally we realised a 2 survey to 40 persons (check  anexo 5),for seeing if they liked our digital newsetller,to the which 30 persons answered yes, the other ones answered that no  (check anexo 6).

Conclusions

We have observed that encouraging the use of condoms in peers and adults is one of the important parts of the hypothesis, which will lead to the verification of it. What we are sure of is that, with this bulletin, we will be informed in a more precise way, and for the moment our conclusions can not be concluded.

Discussion:

With this project it was shown that through a digital bulletin the population can be informed about a topic, in a way that is easy to understand. In our logs the results and the process through which this project went through were shown. When we investigated we discovered that the population was not aware of STIs, which was worrisome since these infections can lead to death.
